About KrisLim

Prior to my collegiate career, I graduated at the top of my academic class in High School and had tremendous success in Golf. I was awarded All-County player status and played in the number 1 spot 3 years in a row on my varsity team where I was also named team captain. Many universities heavily recruited me, however, I decided to attend the University of Miami due to my determination to first achieve educational success by getting my degree.  I graduated May 2007 with a degree in Biology and Chemistry (Pre-Med). During my time, I was not able to continue my success on the Golf Course, as a result of Title 9 recognition enforced at the University of Miami. As you may know, this title states that there must be equal monies for women sports, thus, my school had to cut Men's Golf. This did not stop my passion and love of the game. I played in many prestigious amateur events, as well as, played on a Mini-Tour as an amateur with great success.

My love for the game has not been limited to the course. During my four years in college, I became very active in the First Tee of Miami Program, which helps inner-city children learn how to play golf along with certain values, (i.e.: Honesty, Integrity, Sportsmanship, Respect, Confidence, Responsibility, Perseverance, Courtesy and Judgment).  I am currently on the Advising Board of this Program. Along with the First Tee of Miami, I also volunteer for the Special Olympics.

On the course, I am working with head teaching professional at TPC Sawgrass's TOUR ACADEMY, JP Guarneri. JP has worked with many PGA Tour players including Vijay Singh and Brad Faxon. Also, I have started to work with well known Golf Psychologist, Dr. Gio Valiante, instructor of 2 Time PGA Tour Winner Camillo Villegas and 2008 Fed Ex Cup Champion Vijay Singh. With our hard work and determination we have achieved wins as a junior, amateur, and professional. We will continue set the bar higher for many years to come.
